This is our most traditional and most popular 14-day Italy vacation. Two-night stays in Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice, and Sorrento plus one night in St. Francis' Assisi offer plenty of time with a Local Guide to visit the main sights such as St. Peter's, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, Michelangelo's David, Milan's Duomo, and Venice's St. Mark's Basilica and Doges' Palace. Stops are made in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower, in Romeo and Juliet's Verona, in Ravenna along the sparkling Adriatic coast, and in Cassino's impressive Abbey of Montecassino. The two nights in Sorrento include visits to Pompeii at the foot of Mount Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri. A special Welcome Dinner in a typical Roman restaurant is included.
